Empire Invest is a facilitator for stokvel administration. While we promote the use of the National Stokvel Association of South Africa (NASASA) for group verification, Empire Invest is an independent platform and is not a financial services provider or a deposit-taking institution.

All stokvel groups created on this platform are responsible for their own internal governance. Empire Invest may require a valid NASASA Membership Certificate or a signed Stokvel Constitution for onboarding; however, we do not guarantee the honesty of individual group members.

In the event of theft, embezzlement, or mismanagement of funds by a group administrator or member, Empire Invest and NASASA are not liable for financial loss. These entities do not provide a reimbursement fund.

Members are encouraged to
  • Use multi-signatory bank accounts
  • Seek mediation through NASASA where applicable
  • Report criminal conduct to SAPS
  • Notify Empire Invest so platform access can be restricted where appropriate

By using this platform, users grant Empire Invest the right to share relevant membership details with NASASA for verification, regulatory vetting, and fraud prevention where applicable.
